Personal URLs are a multi-media approach to raising convertion rates among campaign targets. As an example of implementation consider the following:

  1. An organization (ABC Corp) wants to attract new leads or resell to existing customers. An offer is considered to drive the campaign.
  2. A group of contacts is chosen from the Clarivoyix Knowledge Factory database or from ABC's customer database.
  3. A mailer is dropped explaining the offer. It also displays a personal URL as a method to claim the offer. The URL consists of a customer name and a company domain name: JohnDoe.myabccorp.com or something similar.
  4. Upon arrival, the visitor is asked to complete some objective (provide personal contact infomation or complete a survey, etc.) Upon completion, they are redirected to a website, coupon, or other redemption process.

What we find with all things personalized is customers react much more favorably to offers and in turn conversion rates are higher. PURLs are one additional method to personalize and attract customer leads.
